"WHAT IS PVC

PVC has a structure that can be processed together with catalysts and brought to the desired consistency. It is used in fields such as paneling, pipe, wick, cable, etc.. The most commonly used oil in PVC is DOP oil. This oil is mainly used in sectors where dust is studied. PVC is carcinogenic. Mixers and extruders are used to plasticize PVC. PVC processes are as follows;

Hot mixer (cooking area): PVC raw material is processed in this mixer at 120 degrees to plasticize at a medium speed in the range of 1-1: 30 hours.
Note: problems related to painting in paints begin after a cold mixer. The reason for this is that the machines used by the companies are far from the current technology and therefore the screw lengths in the extruder are X<2,5 mt. Due to the fact that it cannot disperse the product, which has not become homogeneous enough, there are problems like ‘not painting’.

Cold mixer: the heated goods in the hot mixer are thrown into this mixer at a temperature of 60 degrees for cooling. This stage allows the product to cool (along with water) by shock and prepare for the extruder stage.
Extruder: where the goods coming out of the Mixer are prepared for production by passing through the screws.

PVC PAINTING METHODS

Pie: it is a polluting method in terms of environmental cleanliness, high in cost.
Powder pigment: medium-high in cost, polluting method in terms of environmental cleanliness. It is subject to a process that companies often use and are familiar with.
Standard masterbatch: masterbatch grains found in standard sizes can be used by sompanies with a screw length of x>2.5 mt.
Micro masterbatch: masterbatch grains found in this size are usually obtained by cutting the head.
Nano masterbatch – TOZZY: They are products that are between the sizes of Micro mb. And powder pigments, do not fly and have dye properties.
Unfortunately, as in every sector, there are some tricks in our sector. For example, the family micro masterbatch dye monos are usually 70% loaded into an overseas company called Holland Color. In Turkey, the percentage of these downloads varies between 50-60%. If the potential customer's statement is that paints do not paint to the same extent as 1% use, it may be recommended that they are related to mono loading and that the percentage of use be increased. Likewise, the use of iron oxide in rigid PVCs is prohibited in Europe. But unfortunately, the use of iron oxide continues in countries that are not yet developed or developing. This use causes the window to break in the pen sector.


PVC IN CABLE INDUSTRY

PE cable: telecommunication cables make up almost the entire PE cable sector. The reason for using XLP PE is because excessive flexibility is required. It is possible to add a little calcite with this raw material. Light fastness is not required in this sector.
EVA cable: EVA cables are of the type that requires ‘non-flammability contributions’ because they will pass through high current and therefore cause fire. EVA cables are both heat resistant and extremely flexible. Light fastness is not required in this sector.
PVC cable: flame retardants (non-flammability additives) are not required because medium-resolution energy passes through copper wires that require energy. Light fastness is rarely required in this sector (Open Space Storage).
Note: The raw material pricing on ton basis is as follows; EVA>PE>PVC. (Since calcite can be added in the desired proportion of PVC raw material, it is possible to reduce a product of $1200 to $600 on average).


ADVANTAGES OF TOZZY

In size bigger than pigment smaller than micro mb.
In terms of cost, it is more economical than pigment.
It doesn’t pollute environment.


Sizing
